There are two ways a student can register for the CMA intermediate course. CMA INTERMEDIATE examinations will be held TWICE in a year JUNE & DECEMBER.

1. Through CMA Foundation Course

Registered students who have cleared the CMA foundation Exams conducted by the institute of cost accountants of India.

2. Through Direct Entry

Candidate are allowed to skip the CMA foundation level and the CMA Foundation exam to gain a direct place in the CMA intermediate level given that they satisfy the following criteria:

If Student passed Graduation (or last semester for provisional) /CMA Foundation/CA inter/CS foundation (CSEET is not eligible)/ post-graduation/ Doctoral/ passed ICSI/ passed CA/ passed CIMA/ passed ACCA.

Candidates have to register on or before 1St February/1st may/1st September for the examination to be held in the month of SEPTEMBER/JANUARY/MAY respectively.

Passing criteria for passing CMA INTERMEDIATE exam:

Candidates need to secure a minimum of 40% marks in each paper and a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate of all papers in a single attempt. Exemptions are also available if candidates score 60% or more marks in a particular paper.
